Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at Sparkling Hill Resort. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining the integrity of our hotel's accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Verify and reconcile all financial transactions, including cash, credit card, and room charges.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our hotel's accounting systems, including the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and policies, including those related to cash handling and accounting procedures.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The Night Auditor will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and resolve issues. The position requires standing for extended periods and working in a quiet and private environment.
