Job Title: Shift Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are working efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working safely and efficiently.
- Manage restaurant operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Train staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting expectations.
- Address customer complaints: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage inventory and supplies: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that inventory and supplies are managed effectively.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
