Lead Diesel Equipment Manager

We are seeking an experienced Lead Diesel Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our large fleet of diesel heavy equipment and diesel trucks. This role involves managing training and hiring Mechanics, assisting in maintenance activities when needed, ordering parts, scheduling work, reducing downtime, and ensuring overall efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, with at least 5 years of experience working on diesel trucks and/or heavy equipment. They should possess a 310T or 421A license and have a proven track record of success in a similar role. Additionally, they should have excellent organizational skills and be able to effectively manage teams and prioritize tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage training programs for Mechanics.
- Assist in maintenance activities as needed.
- Order parts and schedule work to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid time off. We also offer a generous RRSP matching program.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, with regular hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
