Equipment Maintenance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Supervisor to join our team at Options Consulting Solutions. As the ideal candidate, you will have in-depth knowledge of manufacturing equipment and services, with experience navigating plant operations efficiently.
The role involves acting as a backup resource for the Maintenance Manager, building strong relationships across teams to identify and address maintenance needs. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the annual maintenance budget, prioritizing and scheduling machine repairs, maintenance, and installations to support smooth production operations.
You will also develop and refine preventive maintenance programs by analyzing reports and inspecting equipment for compliance with standards. Additionally, you will lead maintenance operations by enforcing policies, assigning tasks, and monitoring team performance.
A successful candidate will have 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, and be able to work in a high-noise, high-heat, and humid plant environment. Certification or a post-secondary degree/diploma in a technical field is an asset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the maintenance budget and ensuring cost efficiency
- Prioritizing and scheduling machine repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Developing and refining preventive maintenance programs
- Leading maintenance operations and enforcing policies
