Brandt Truck & Trailers is seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Heavy Duty Technician in our organization. This role will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experienced technicians to conduct CVIP inspections
  • Troubleshoot complex and minor mechanical issues
  • Repair and adjust mechanical components, including drive lines, engines, and other necessary parts
  • Complete detailed and accurate work orders
  • Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs
  • Perform other mechanical repair work and duties as required

Required Skills:

  • Completion of college or vocational technical training
  • 1+ years of experience as a heavy duty mechanic apprentice, specifically with drive lines/air systems including schematics and diagnostics
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with complex mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
