About the Role

Tiger Calcium Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year Apprentice with a strong understanding of heavy-duty mechanics and equipment.
  • Experience with Cummins engines, aftertreatment diagnostics, hydraulic systems, and Super B trailers.
  • Working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions in the trade.
  • Familiarity with TMT software program.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, airbrake mechanical, and hydraulic system failures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, including drug and alcohol and health assessment.
