About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Supervisor to join our team at Cardinal Health. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of operations on the floor, executing daily operations, and acting as a role model to others in terms of consistently meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Executing daily operations, including pick, pack, ship, receive, and other tasks.
  • Ensuring the daily coordination and efficient flow of operations on the floor, moving resources as required.
  • Assisting the Supervisor in ensuring that the team is working in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Training new and existing employees on all work practices and procedures.
  • Assigning and directing the work on the floor, responding to complaints and resolving problems.
  • Coaching employees on how to improve quality and productivity metrics.
  • Working closely with interdepartmental management staff.
  • Maintaining an open communication with employees, relaying key messages and participating in team meetings.
  • Assisting in tracking each employee's performance to ensure that all employees are working according to production, quality and attendance standards.
  • Ensuring that employees comply with health and safety rules at all times.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education (DEC) is required.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and oral) is required.
  • 3 years of experience in the operations or distribution field is required.
  • Proven leadership skills are required.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma Methodologies/Continuous Improvement is preferred.
