Maintenance Mechanic I

Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic I is a key member of our production team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, using technical knowledge and experience to identify and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, identifying potential issues and taking proactive steps to prevent breakdowns.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules, working closely with the production team to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production staff, helping to resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in the field, applying this knowledge to improve maintenance practices and equipment performance.
Qualifications
- 433 A Millwright/Trade certification
