Maintenance Mechanic I

Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic I is a key member of our production team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with production staff to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimal downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations and participate in the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Qualifications
- 433 A Millwright/Trade certification
