About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at ABC Home Support Ltd. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health
  • Collect specimens and assist with medical procedures as needed
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their mental well-being
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required
