About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Luo Resident. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments and errands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment

Our Home Support Workers work in a non-smoking environment and are required to work in the employer's/client's home.

Language and Communication

The primary language spoken in this role is English, and fluency in this language is required.

Work Schedule

Home Support Workers work a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
