Stair Builder and Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Stair Builder and Carpenter to join our team at Sehmbi Woodcraft 2006 LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building and installing staircases, cabinets, and other woodwork features in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
As a Stair Builder and Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying work sites, including residential and commercial locations. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy conditions.
Requirements:- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
