Stair Builder and Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Stair Builder and Carpenter to join our team at Sehmbi Woodcraft 2006 LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building and installing staircases, floors, and other wood structures in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
As a Stair Builder and Carpenter, you will work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions with tight deadlines.
Requirements:- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat are required.
