About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stair Builder and Carpenter to join our team at Sehmbi Woodcraft 2006 LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building and installing staircases, floors, and other wood structures in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy conditions. You must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat are required.
