Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist, Subcontractor Management to join our dynamic Health, Safety, and Security team in Canada. This exciting opportunity will involve leading and enhancing our subcontractor management program, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective subcontractor management strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide expert guidance on HSE matters related to subcontractors.
  • Manage databases used by clients to qualify WSP, such as Avetta, Cognibox, and Comply Works.
  • Support tendering departments in drafting bids related to HSE.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian provincial OH&S Acts, regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a related discipline (Engineering, OHS, Environment) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or equivalent is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an OHS position.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
