Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to oversee the financial health of our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing accounting and administrative functions, ensuring proper accounting practices, budgets, and forecasts are in place. You will also lead a team of employees across multiple departments and manage day-to-day office operations.

This is a senior-level role that requires strong financial leadership and accountability. You will analyze financial data, provide sound business recommendations, and stay current with accounting standards and tax regulations. Additionally, you will oversee daily business operations, improve processes and procedures, and handle all daily accounting functions essential for running the business.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing employees in a senior role, 10 years of experience in a senior accounting and finance position, and hold a CPA designation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data and provide sound business recommendations to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Stay current with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Provide strong financial leadership and accountability for the team.
  • Oversee daily business operations, improving processes and procedures.
  • Handle all daily accounting functions essential for running the business.
  • Own and manage pricing and costing strategies.
  • Evaluate productivity and performance, implementing strategies for continuous improvement and growth.
  • Support audits and financial reporting.
  • Oversee all staffing-related functions, including HR responsibilities.
  • Maintain and update the ERP system.
  • Manage office administration tasks and staff.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing employees in a senior role.
  • 10 years of experience in a senior accounting and finance position.
  • CPA designation required; CMA is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in the food industry is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strategic business planning skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
