Job Description:

A key role in our International Wealth Management team is available as a Director. This position is responsible for overseeing the credit quality of designated portfolios and collaborating on strategic initiatives to drive growth and optimize risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a customer-centric culture throughout the team, deepening client relationships and leveraging broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with International Private Banking on transactions and risk appetite topics, contributing to the development of policies and strategies.
  • Adjudicate credits within assigned limits, provide recommendations for over-limit deals, and authorize waivers and amendments.
  • Work with local credit units and International Wealth Management teams to provide advice and counsel on atypical transactions.
Requirements:
  • Broad credit background and 5-10 years of lending experience; IPL structuring is an asset.
  • Fluent in Spanish given the geographic scope of the team.
  • Excellent analytical, management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of workout situations and strong computer skills.
  • Awareness of competitor practices, economic, and business trends.
