Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Portfolio Manager to lead our AML program within Corporate Technology.

About the Role

As a Strategic Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for leading assigned projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring successful business outcomes. You will drive execution risk mitigation, facilitate communication with stakeholders, and direct team members to achieve desired results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Network with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices.
  • Develop strategic plans and conduct independent analysis to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage financial forecasts, reconcile expenses, and provide data-driven decision support.
  • Break down complex problems, analyze data, and provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor performance, address issues, and provide change leadership to drive transformation.
  • Develop change management plans, allocate budgets, and ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
  • Provide guidance to project sponsors, ensuring successful project outcomes and adoption.
  • Execute project requirements in governance frameworks, adhering to risk appetite, regulatory, and compliance standards.
  • Develop project management artifacts, monitor deliverables, and recommend adjustments to the project plan.
  • Advise project sponsors on the viability of business cases, including costs, benefits, and KPIs.
  • Proactively identify project risks, establish effective mitigation strategies, and demonstrate stakeholder partnership.
  • Demonstrate ownership and commitment, holding yourself accountable for project problem identification and resolution.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.
  • Expert-level stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to apply project management methodologies and approaches.
  • Able to manage project and business risks, including project interdependencies.
  • Able to resolve project issues effectively.
  • A technical leader with expertise in innovation.
  • Able to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.

Estimated Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per year
