Produce Department Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Produce Department Team Trainer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for produce team members, focusing on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Team Support: Provide ongoing support and coaching to produce team members, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.
- Communication: Collaborate with produce team leaders, store trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of training efforts.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that produce team members are meeting our high standards for customer service and product knowledge.
- Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail or food service environment, with a focus on customer service and team development.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong knowledge of produce products and operations, with the ability to train and coach team members on these topics.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
