Job Summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Produce Department Team Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our team members, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for produce department team members, including new hire training, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with produce department leaders to identify training needs and develop training plans to meet those needs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and coaching.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve their performance and address any knowledge or skill gaps.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, including attendance, participation, and evaluation results.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and best practices, and ensure that training programs reflect these standards.
Requirements
  • 6 months of Whole Foods Market experience (or equivalent retail training experience).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of software applications (MS Office Suite).
