Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2736809 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Staff Management: Hire food service staff, supervise and check assembly of trays, and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
