Scotiabank is seeking highly motivated and sales-driven individuals to join our Wealth Management Associate Program. As a Private Banking Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in credit underwriting and relationship management, working closely with high-net worth clients to meet their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments and make informed decisions on loan applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an undergraduate or master's degree by June 2025, or relevant work experience in client relationships and financial advice.
  • Registration with the appropriate provincial securities commission to obtain a license to sell mutual funds.
  • Strong sales and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and persuade clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
