Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a combo plow unit to perform snow removal on local roads and highways. You will also be required to maintain accurate documentation, perform routine maintenance, and conduct minor repairs on equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a combo plow unit to remove snow and ice from roads and highways
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
  • Work in extreme weather conditions, including snow, ice, and freezing temperatures
  • Respond to call-ins within thirty minutes during winter storm events

Requirements

  • AZ or DZ license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to operate a loader and perform other maintenance duties
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Previous experience in winter-works operations
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
