Snow Plow Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a combo plow unit, performing snow removal on local roads and highways as per contract requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating a combo plow unit to clear snow and ice from roads and highways
- Maintaining accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment, conducting routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Familiarizing yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates
- Meeting call-in requirements during winter storm events
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- AZ or DZ license with a clean driver's abstract
- Availability to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
- Ability to operate a loader and perform other maintenance duties
- Ability to work assigned shifts, extended hours, and in extreme weather conditions
Previous experience in winter-works operations, mechanical knowledge, and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs are highly desirable.
