Aramark Canada is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our Multi-Unit Food Service operation at a college campus in Scarborough. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, administering, and directing all unit activities related to Tim Hortons, Subway, Pizza Pizza, and Aramark proprietary food service operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee the daily operations of retail food services, including Tim Hortons, Subway, Pizza Pizza franchises, and Aramark proprietary brands

• Lead a team of staff to ensure daily opening, operating, and closing of stores are done in accordance with brand and Aramark standards

• Schedule employees and manage time off, sick leave, and reporting as required

• Monitor staff performance and implement progressive discipline processes as needed

• Manage inventory and financials, including store registers and floats

• Track sales and provide financial reports as required

• Control inventory, monitor revenues, and modify procedures and prices as necessary

• Respond to customer complaints and provide excellent customer service

• Provide data to the General Manager as needed

• Support other campus sites as required

Requirements


• A minimum of 2-3 years of Food and Beverage management experience is required

• Experience managing Tim Hortons, Subway, or Pizza Pizza franchise is preferred

• Knowledge of inventory management, including conducting inventory counts, maintaining par levels, and ordering

• Staff management skills, including scheduling, training, coaching, tracking, and discipline

• Excellent communication and people skills to foster employee and client relations

• Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols and policies

• Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel
