Pre-Engineered Steel Building Sales Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced sales professional to represent our pre-engineered steel building solutions in the market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, specifically within the construction or steel building industry, and will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pre-engineered steel building sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and architects.
- Provide accurate and detailed quotes, proposals, and cost estimates for steel building projects.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure that client requirements are met.
- Understand and effectively communicate product offerings, including MBS, VP Command, and VP Fast Track solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and project terms with clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, building codes, and competitor offerings.
- Attend industry trade shows and networking events to promote our services.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Proven sales experience in the pre-engineered steel building industry or related construction field.
- Strong understanding of pre-engineered steel building design and construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Freshsales, MBS, VP Command, and VP Fast Track software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in estimating, preparing quotes, and closing sales in the construction or steel building industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
