Job Description

Field Law is a leading law firm with offices in various locations. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services and leveraging technology to enhance our operations. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven IT Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.

The IT Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, implementing best practices, and supporting our firm's growth by driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Manage and support the firm's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user systems.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Incident Management: Oversee incident management, problem resolution, and service request fulfillment to ensure timely and effective IT support.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the CIO and other stakeholders to align IT operations with the firm's strategic goals.
  • Technology Management: Oversee the management of Microsoft ecosystem technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, and security solutions.
  • Financial Management: Manage IT budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and security standards.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing processes and projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in managing IT teams and delivering high-quality service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Work Schedule: Normal week-day office hours (35 hours).
