Salmex Carpentry Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade. You will work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and be willing to relocate for this position.

Key responsibilities include building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, erecting walls and roof systems, fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, and maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures.

The successful candidate will possess strong physical capabilities, including bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working under tight deadlines. They will also be accurate, client-focused, and a team player with strong judgement and reliability.
