Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at CAR - JON FAMILY RESTAURANTS. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, informing management of trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports on restaurant performance, highlighting successes and areas for growth.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Own transportation.
