Job Title: Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at CAR - JON FAMILY RESTAURANTS. As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient scheduling systems to ensure that our staff are adequately staffed during peak periods.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our customer demand.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our team of food service staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our customer needs.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide ongoing training and coaching to our staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Analyze our menu and customer demand to estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to join our team.
  • Ensure that Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service to ensure that it meets our high standards.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Maintain accurate records of our stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management to ensure that they are informed of our operations and any issues that may arise.
