Restaurant Shift Manager

At CAR - JON FAMILY RESTAURANTS, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock and inventory.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and train them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of sales and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, and will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and for ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
