Job Summary:
HyLife is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable functions, including entering vouchers and processing receipts and invoices into Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) accounting system
- Perform data entry from various information sources into different systems
- Correspond with external vendors and internal parties, responding to inquiries and resolving issues
Requirements:
- Basic training or experience using MS Office software
- Experience with Great Plains would be an asset
- Post-secondary schooling in accounting or AP experience
- Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail for greater accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Grade 12 Diploma
- 3 years' experience in a computerized office environment is an asset
- Basic accounting knowledge required
