About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Second Cook to join our kitchen team at Bold Butchery & Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Staff Training: Train and mentor junior staff members in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve high-quality food production and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
