About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IWK Health Centre as a Director, Health Equity and Inclusion. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to promote health equity and inclusion within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote health equity and inclusion within the organization
  • Lead the development of policies and procedures to support health equity and inclusion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address health disparities and inequities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff on health equity and inclusion issues
  • Develop and implement training programs to promote health equity and inclusion
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. public health, health administration, social work)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare organization
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful health equity and inclusion initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
