Director of Equity and Community Supports

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Equity and Community Supports. This is a critical role that will play a key part in shaping the University of King's College's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
About the RoleThe Director of Equity and Community Supports will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across the university. This will involve working closely with senior leadership, faculty, staff, and students to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of the community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across the university
- Lead the development of policies and procedures related to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Provide training and support to faculty, staff, and students on equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement initiatives to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as human rights, diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will also need to have significant experience in leading and advancing social/human/equity services and support, preferably in the higher education sector. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
