Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at ALBERTA INC. as an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of truck drivers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and overseeing the maintenance and repair of company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train or arrange for training for truck drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties safely and efficiently;
  • Ensure that all truck drivers comply with health and safety regulations, including regular vehicle inspections and maintenance;
  • Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary measures, to management;
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals of company vehicles to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization;
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for the operation of the fleet.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the transportation industry;
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people;
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who can contribute to the overall success of the organization.
