Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Associate - Truck Driver to join our team at A-Z TRUCK & TRAILER SERVICES LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving lighter, special purpose trucks and overseeing all aspects of vehicle operation.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will possess a Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) and have completed Skid Control Training.
  • Will train applicants are welcome to apply as we provide on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  2. Load and unload goods with precision and care.
  3. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  4. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption accurately.
  5. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Work Environment

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with central dispatch and maintaining open communication channels.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • A permanent full-time position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • A supportive and dynamic work environment that promotes growth and development.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Skid Control Training certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records.
