We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Associate - Truck Driver to join our team at A-Z TRUCK & TRAILER SERVICES LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving lighter, special purpose trucks and overseeing all aspects of vehicle operation.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will possess a Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) and have completed Skid Control Training.
- Will train applicants are welcome to apply as we provide on-the-job training.
- Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods with precision and care.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption accurately.
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo during transportation.
The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with central dispatch and maintaining open communication channels.
What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience.
- A permanent full-time position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
- A supportive and dynamic work environment that promotes growth and development.
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles).
- Skid Control Training certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records.
