Job Summary

Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and excellent communication skills. You will be required to maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and relay information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Valid AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring attention to detail
