Key Responsibilities- Client Service: Provide a superior level of courteous, knowledgeable, and professional service to all existing and potential clients, displaying a comprehensive knowledge of products.
- Relationship Building: Recognize the appropriate time to proactively identify and discuss clients' needs and work collaboratively with the branch and regional teams to identify and make referrals.
- Product Knowledge: Assist in preparing new business proposals or presentations to clients/prospects and identify customer needs and match with appropriate products or services using relationship selling techniques.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend workflow process alternatives that can lead to improved efficiency and service levels.
- Client Inquiries: Take ownership of client inquiries/concerns/complaints, ensuring timely resolution and referring as appropriate.
- Knowledge and Understanding: Maintain detailed knowledge and understanding of integrated private banking services and offerings as well as a detailed understanding of the strategic direction of the business.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver on business objectives.
- Analysis and Insights: Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Compliance and Risk: Adhere to all banking, investment, and lending regulations, policies, and procedures, legal and ethical requirements, process requirements, bank guidelines, and established risk guidelines.
- Security and Safeguarding: Follow security and safeguarding procedures and apply appropriate due diligence for the prevention of loss due to fraud, counterfeiting, money laundering, or defalcation in accordance with Bank policy.
- Audit and Compliance: Participate in audits and compliance reviews as assigned.
- Escalation and Issue Resolution: Identify and escalate all irregularities and discrepancies to management.
- Experience: Typically between 2 – 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensing and Certification: Must meet the licensing and certification requirements for the team/branch/jurisdiction where the mandate is being fulfilled.
- Product Knowledge: Working knowledge of personal (primarily) and commercial credit and non-credit products, monitoring/operational processes, and applications.
- Lending Process: Basic knowledge of the Lending Process and supporting policies.
- Loan and Security Documentation: Basic knowledge of loan and security documentation, including registration and renewal routine.
- Specialized Knowledge: Specialized knowledge.
- Communication and Collaboration: Verbal and written communication skills – Good. Organization skills – Good. Collaboration and team skills – Good. Analytical and problem-solving skills – Good.
