A Day in the Life of a Healthcare Security Officer:

As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing access control and monitoring patient safety in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Responding to incidents and emergencies, and conducting thorough investigations to identify root causes.
  • Collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure exceptional service and support.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the highest level of security and safety.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven de-escalation skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • A valid AB Security license, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including day and night shifts, on a 4 on, 4 off rotation.
