Healthcare Security Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Security Guard to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our Healthcare Division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide access control and monitor patient safety, documenting and reporting incidents as required.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance, providing timely and effective support.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or security breaches, working closely with healthcare staff and management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain prior to commencing work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to de-escalate conflicts and provide empathetic support.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
  • Availability to work 4 on, 4 off rotation, including day and night shifts.
