Healthcare Security Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Security Guard to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our Healthcare Division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide access control and monitor facility access points.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarm activations and emergency calls.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or security breaches.
  • Monitor patient safety and document incidents as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
  • Availability to work 4 on, 4 off rotation on day or night shifts.
