Taylor Corporation is seeking a talented leader to join our team as a Director of Manufacturing Operations. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for directing and controlling all aspects of the P&L via production KPIs, quality assurance, sales, and administrative segments of the Plant operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Direct operations of a multiple shift manufacturing facility
  • Lead and develop a customer-centric production team
  • Develop business plans and annual budgets focusing on profitability
  • Oversee the effective management of inventory, warehousing, scheduling, and on-time delivery
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of the business
  • Full accountability for financial performance from creation of budget to actual monthly P&L performance, including forecasting, variance reporting, budgeting, etc.
  • Good understanding of all aspects of the business, including backlogs, schedules, markups, costs, and pricing to ensure good business decisions are made daily
  • Build relationships with customers and key vendors; act as an escalation point for customer or key vendor issues
  • Lead facility-specific sales; reviewing and managing RFPs and contracts to daily pricing decisions
  • Select, develop, train, and motivate staff to ensure attainment of short- and long-term growth objectives
  • Responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards for all employees
  • Support the implementation of automated systems throughout the facility

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years' broad management experience
  • Prior experience building and leading teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of all functional areas (manufacturing, finance, sales/marketing, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with unquestioned integrity
  • Intermediate PC skills - computer/measurement systems knowledge; proficient in spreadsheet applications, web browser/internet navigation
  • Strong planning/organizational skills, results-oriented
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate employees

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $138,000 - $148,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
