About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to drive business growth and excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Director of Manufacturing Operations, you will be responsible for directing and controlling all aspects of the P&L, including production KPIs, quality assurance, sales, and administrative segments of the Plant operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a customer-centric production team to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Develop business plans and annual budgets focusing on profitability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the effective management of inventory, warehousing, scheduling, and on-time delivery.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of the business.
  • Ensure full accountability for financial performance, including forecasting, variance reporting, budgeting, and daily pricing decisions.
  • Build relationships with customers and key vendors, and act as an escalation point for customer or key vendor issues.
  • Lead facility-specific sales, reviewing and managing RFPs and contracts to daily pricing decisions.
  • Select, develop, train, and motivate staff to ensure attainment of short- and long-term growth objectives.
  • Responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards for all employees.
  • Support the implementation of automated systems throughout the facility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years' broad management experience, including prior experience building and leading teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a working knowledge of all functional areas (manufacturing, finance, sales/marketing, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with unquestioned integrity, and intermediate PC skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet applications and web browser/internet navigation.
  • Strong planning/organizational skills, results-oriented, and strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate employees.

What We Offer:

Taylor Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $138,000 - $148,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Our total compensation and benefits package includes a comprehensive range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
