Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Manufacturing Operations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and controlling all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, quality assurance, sales, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and control all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, quality assurance, sales, and administrative functions.
  • Lead and develop a customer-centric production team to achieve exceptional results and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement business plans and annual budgets to drive profitability and growth.
  • Oversee the effective management of inventory, warehousing, scheduling, and on-time delivery to ensure seamless operations.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization.
  • Take full accountability for financial performance, including forecasting, variance reporting, budgeting, and other financial tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key vendors to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Lead facility-specific sales efforts, including reviewing and managing RFPs and contracts, and making daily pricing decisions.
  • Select, develop, train, and motivate staff to ensure attainment of short- and long-term growth objectives.
  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards for all employees.
  • Support the implementation of automated systems throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years' broad management experience, including prior experience building and leading teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Working knowledge of all functional areas, including manufacturing, finance, sales/marketing, and other related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with unquestioned integrity and a commitment to excellence.
  • Intermediate PC skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet applications, web browser/internet navigation, and other relevant software.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate employees.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $138,000 - $148,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
