Senior Professional, Engineering

Bombardier is a global leader in the aerospace industry, creating innovative and game-changing planes that provide world-class transportation experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Senior, Engineering to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver engineering projects and activities related to major milestones for various platforms;
- Lead cross-functional teams in establishing scope, schedule, and budget for engineering projects;
- Coordinate technical Engineering Change planning to ensure completeness and harmonization with stakeholders;
- Enforce adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote integrity and consistency in technical engineering activities;
- Collaborate with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure project scope, schedule, and budget adherence;
- Manage and establish engineering priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities;
- Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution;
- Participate in internal safety and security processes to assess, contain, and correct potential product deficiencies with cross-functional stakeholders;
- Prepare and provide visibility of budget requirements and resource allocation;
- Prepare and present visibility reports for various levels of the organization;
- Coordinate Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) cross-functional reviews;
- Manage multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary;
- Coordinate formal engineering document release (Drawings, ModSums, Compliance Documents, Service Bulletins, etc.).
- Engineering degree or relevant diploma with equivalent working experience, with 5-8 years in project management or aerospace;
- Familiarity with Program/Project Management processes and principles;
- Sound aircraft technical and/or manufacturing experience;
- Previous experience in structural and/or systems development would be an asset;
- Professional attitude and superior communication skills;
- Excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to objectives and responsibilities;
- Natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Self-motivated, autonomous, enthusiastic, and results-oriented;
- Technically curious;
- Ability to work willingly and independently in a fast-paced, challenging environment;
- Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed targets;
- Good computing skills; proficient in MS Office and experience with MS Excel and MS Project is an asset.
