Flight Test Engineer Senior Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Test Engineer Senior Professional to join our team at Bombardier Aerospace Canada. As a key member of our Flight Test Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of flight test operations on Production and Experimental Aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular flight duties as Flight Test Engineer on Production Aircraft, ensuring compliance with company, FAA, and Transport Canada rules and regulations.
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and documentation, including Test Cards and Plans, in accordance with approved Bombardier Flight Test Center standards.
- Coordinate and chair reviews and briefings on Test Readiness, Safety Of Flight, and Test Hazard Analysis, ensuring thorough risk assessment and mitigation.
- Collaborate with System Engineering, Methods Engineering, Flight Sciences, and Pre-Flight teams to plan, execute, and report on flight test operations.
- Oversee and confirm aircraft configuration is appropriate and applicable for test, ensuring accurate and reliable test results.
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (P. Eng.)
- 10+ years of experience in Aerospace Engineering, including Flight Test Engineering
- Masters in Engineering/Aviation or Test Pilot School graduate
- Understanding of Civil/Commercial aircraft certification Part 25 requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project & Access)
- Self-motivated with good communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to remote locations for short and extended periods
