We're seeking a skilled Professional Senior, Engineering, In-Service Stress to support stress in-service repair activities. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:- Perform various stress analyses on repairs: Static strength, Fatigue/Durability, damage Tolerance, and Finite element Model (FEM) on multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger and Global)
- Prepare stress reports, static strength, and damage tolerance analysis for compliance purposes
- Carry out stress calculations to assess design solutions and repair trade studies
- Review repair engineering drawings and participate actively in the development of in-Service solutions
- Provide clear visibility to management of the status and/or emerging issues to the supported repair activities
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience in Aircraft Structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, and excellent knowledge and experience of structural Damage Tolerance Analysis
- Experience using Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, CATIA V5
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Confident, knowledgeable, and energetic person with excellent communication and listening skills that is able to work in a team environment
- Initiative, strong sense of responsibility, and good engineering judgment
