About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electric Cable Network Installation Assistant to join our team at Gold Touch Electric Ltd. As an Electric Cable Network Installation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth installation and maintenance of our electrical cable networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of electrical cable networks, including moving tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements and placement.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to relocate to various locations.
  • Physically demanding work environment, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Health care plan and free parking available.
  • Provides physical accessibility accommodations and awareness training to employees.
  • Participates in government or community programs supporting newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, and Indigenous people.
