Job Title: Electric Cable Network Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electric Cable Network Technician to join our team at Gold Touch Electric Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical cable networks.

Work Environment

Our work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely manner. You will be working outdoors and in confined spaces, with a variety of tasks to complete on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of electrical cable networks, including moving tools and equipment as needed.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles as required.
